Who we are

Split or Stay is an anonymous service where people post relationship dilemmas and others vote on them. It is run by an individual operator based in Tokyo, Japan. Contact: .

What we collect

• An anonymous account ID. When you first open the app, we create a random ID for your browser. It is not linked to your name, email or phone number.
• What you post. Your question text, the tags and relationship length you choose, the audience you pick (Japan, US or Global), and any follow-up you add.
• Your votes and comments, together with the region you selected (US, Japan or Other).
• Basic activity. When you first and last used the app, and the language you use, so we can count active users.
• Technical data. Our hosting and database providers process your IP address and browser information to deliver the service and prevent abuse.

We do not ask for your real name. Please do not include real names, workplaces, schools, social media handles or other details that could identify you or anyone else. The app automatically hides email addresses, phone numbers, links and @handles, but cannot catch everything.

What other people can see

Questions, follow-ups, vote totals by region and comments are public to everyone using the app. Nobody else can see which questions you posted or how you voted. Your anonymous ID is never shown.

How we use it

To run the app, show results, count usage, keep the service safe (rate limits, reports, removing content that breaks our Terms), and improve the product. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Our database is hosted by Supabase in Tokyo, Japan. The website is delivered by Vercel, a US company, through a global network. This means your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.

Third-party services this site connects to

• Supabase (database and anonymous sign-in) — your anonymous ID, posts, votes and IP address.
• Vercel (hosting) — IP address and browser information.
• Google Fonts (fonts) and jsDelivr (code library) — your browser downloads files from them, which shares your IP address and browser information.
• MyMemory (translation, by Translated srl, Italy) — only when you tap "Translate": the text of that question and your IP address.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until we close the service. Content removed for breaking our rules is deleted from the app.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to delete your posts, votes and comments, or ask what we hold. Because accounts are anonymous, email us at with the question text (or a screenshot) so we can find it. If someone wrote about you in a way you can recognize, you can ask us to remove it the same way. We aim to respond within 7 days.

Clearing your browser data deletes your anonymous ID from your device. After that, we can no longer link you to your earlier posts automatically.

Age

Split or Stay is only for people aged 18 or older.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be shown in the app.

Split or Stay は、恋愛の悩みを匿名で投稿し、他のユーザーが判定するサービスです。東京在住の個人が運営しています。お問い合わせ：

取得する情報

• 匿名ID。初めてアプリを開いたときに、お使いのブラウザにランダムなIDを発行します。氏名・メールアドレス・電話番号とは紐づきません。
• 投稿内容。相談本文、選択したタグと交際期間、公開範囲（日本・アメリカ・全世界）、追記したその後の内容。
• 投票とコメント、および選択した地域（アメリカ・日本・その他）。
• 利用状況。アクティブユーザー数を把握するため、初回・最終利用日時と使用言語。
• 技術情報。サービス提供と不正防止のため、ホスティング事業者およびデータベース事業者がIPアドレスやブラウザ情報を処理します。

実名は取得しません。あなたや他の人が特定される情報（実名・勤務先・学校名・SNSアカウントなど）は書かないでください。メールアドレス・電話番号・リンク・@IDは自動で非表示にしますが、すべてを検出できるわけではありません。

他のユーザーに表示される情報

相談本文、その後の追記、地域別の投票結果、コメントはすべてのユーザーに公開されます。あなたがどの相談を投稿したか、どう投票したかは他のユーザーには分かりません。匿名IDも表示されません。

利用目的

サービスの提供、結果の表示、利用状況の集計、安全の確保（投稿頻度の制限、通報対応、利用規約に違反する内容の削除）、およびサービス改善のために利用します。情報の販売や広告目的での利用は行いません。

保存場所と外国にある第三者への提供

データベースは Supabase 社の東京リージョンに保存されます。ウェブサイトは米国の Vercel 社のグローバルネットワークを通じて配信されるため、アメリカを含む外国で情報が処理される場合があります。

外部送信について

本サイトは、以下の事業者のサービスに接続します。

• Supabase（データベース・匿名ログイン）：匿名ID、投稿、投票、IPアドレス
• Vercel（ホスティング）：IPアドレス、ブラウザ情報
• Google Fonts（フォント）、jsDelivr（プログラムの配信）：ファイルの取得に伴い、IPアドレスとブラウザ情報が送信されます
• MyMemory（翻訳、イタリア Translated社）：「翻訳」ボタンを押したときのみ、その相談の本文とIPアドレス

アクセス解析ツールや広告用のトラッカーは使用していません。

保存期間

削除のご依頼があるまで、またはサービス終了まで保存します。規約違反により削除した内容はアプリから消去します。

開示・削除のご依頼

ご自身の投稿・投票・コメントの削除や、保有している情報の開示を依頼できます。アカウントが匿名のため、該当する相談の本文（またはスクリーンショット）を添えて までご連絡ください。ご自身のことが書かれていると分かる投稿の削除も、同じ方法でご依頼いただけます。原則7日以内に対応します。

ブラウザのデータを消去すると、端末から匿名IDが削除され、以前の投稿と自動的に紐づけることはできなくなります。

年齢

本サービスは18歳以上の方のみご利用いただけます。

改定

本ポリシーを改定した場合は上記の日付を更新し、重要な変更はアプリ内でお知らせします。
